a welcome sight and feeling
i went back to the gym today. relived that i could re-enter my sanctuary thanks to getting my unemployment.
the despair i felt at giving up the membership weighed on me heavily. i wanted to go yesterday to start my 5/3/1 program but i felt crappy...physically. was sluggish and tired all day. well i was having none of that today.
wanting to make up for yesterday i combined 2 days. fairly easy on this program. all i need to do is hit the main lift. so i did deads and bench today. and it went a lil somethin like this....
deadlifts 135, 225 5 reps 315x5 365x5 420x5 +2 w/straps
---was really surprised how easy these came up. especially cuz my back was hurting the past couple days.
close grip bench 135, 155, 185 5 reps 215x5 245x5 280x5 +2
HS iso row 1 arm 90x10 5 sets each arm
pulldowns with rope 100x10 5 sets
HS iso press 1 arm 90x8 5sets each arm

glad unemployment came through for you... i know its not a fix... will keep praying a job comes your way.... glad you were at least able to get back to the gym!
